Phoenix Annual Open Meet 15th Feb 2009

Congratulations to all 24 WSC swimmers who took part in the recent Pheonix Youth Open meet. There were some outstanding swims with many personal bests being recorded. In particular there were top three finishes and trophies presented to Aaron Bradley, Sarah Millington, Jessica Smith, Danielle Mullinder, Laura Burke, Josie Turner, Lauren Preston, Lucy Doncaster, Georgia Driver, Chloe Gregory and Fleur Kennedy in individual races. Top six finishes and medals were also awarded to Chloe Cook, Megan Bond, William Smith, Nathan Bradley, William Simmons, Brandon Howard and Charles Besenyei. Special congratulations to Sarah Millington (15+) and Danielle Mullinder (12) top girls in there respective age groups.
Also competeing and recording several personal bests were Scott Rayner, Georgina Turner, Tom Bate, Callum Giles, Abigail Roberts, Sarah Hughes and Joseph Hughes. A solid team performance saw WSC take the top club trophy.
