Gala Glory !
It was an amazing night for Wolverhampton swimming club in the second round of the Nuneaton and district swimming league.
Wolverhampton produced a strong team performance with a total of 32 top three finishes from the 51 races that make up the competition.
The points total was extremely close all night and after 42 of the nights races the two leading clubs (Worcester and Wolverhampton) were split by only 2 points.
In front of an excited crowd the team continued to perform outstandingly to maintain the evenings solid team performance in the remaining 9 races.
And it was due to this that against tough opposition Wolverhampton clinched victory with 215 points to Worcesters 212.

Wolverhampton's win on the night sees them with a terrific 11 points comfortably placed at the top end of division 1, leading many other larger clubs with enviable league 1 division reputations .
Every swimmer involved should be proud of their achievements as everyone contributed to the final points total.
